Boiler Makeup Water
Boiler makeup water is primarily used to replenish the steam-water loss in the steam-water system. Based on the treatment process, boiler makeup water can be classified into water pretreatment and desalination. The source of makeup water in China mainly comes from natural water bodies, such as rivers, reservoirs, lakes, and groundwater. Some power plants also use tap water as the raw water. Due to the significant differences in hydrological conditions and water quality in different regions, various process flows are adopted, including coagulation, sedimentation and clarification, filtration, and adsorption.
Purpose of Separation
● Prefiltration: Removes sediment, clay, humus, and colloidal particles from the raw water, reducing the turbidity to 15mg/L.
● Desalination Filtration: When the raw water contains a high salt content, electrodialysis or reverse osmosis treatment is adopted to reduce the burden on the ion exchange unit and ensure its normal operation.

● Reliable Operation: Compact equipment that can achieve automatic control.
● Optional Filters: Available in large-flow filters, melt-blown filters, pleated filters, etc.
