BDO/PTMEG
BDO, an industrial product, is toxic. When ingested by patients or applied to injured skin, it can initially cause anesthetic effects, leading to specific pathological changes in the liver or kidneys, and ultimately sudden death due to central nervous system paralysis.
Polytetramethylene Ether Glycol, commonly known as PTMEG, is a polymer of tetrahydrofuran. It is mainly used in the production of polyurethane elastomers, spandex, and ester-ether copolymer elastomers. It is flammable.
