Modification of Filters for Hydrogen Peroxide Production in a Central Enterprise

As we all know, filtration plays a crucial role in the production of hydrogen peroxide. Selecting high-quality filters with high filtering accuracy provides significant assurance for the stability and safety of hydrogen peroxide production, which can also extend the regeneration cycle of the catalyst and achieve the goal of reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

Customers select appropriate filters and filtering accuracies based on their respective working conditions. Some manufacturers use filter bags, while others use filter cartridges. A general rule is to choose products and manufacturers with high filtering accuracy and good quality.
Company A has reported the following issues encountered in hydrogen peroxide production:
① Rapid catalyst deactivation and short replacement cycle
② Decomposition of oxidation residue, low oxidation yield, and high phosphoric acid consumption
③ Elevated interface in the extraction tower, even with water entrainment
After our engineers inspected the working conditions on site, they discovered that in Company A's hydrogen peroxide production unit, the original primary filter for the working solution uses a non-standard bag-type filter cartridge with a special structure, while the secondary filter uses filter bags. There are issues such as low filtering accuracy, filter bag rupture, or liquid leakage from the sealing ring, resulting in excessive impurities in the working solution system, the filtering efficiency not meeting expectations, and affecting production safety and costs.
To improve the customer's working conditions, we propose the following solutions:
① Modify the primary filter by designing and customizing internal components for fixation based on the filter's internal structure. Replace the original non-standard filter cartridge with our high-flow filter cartridge. This solution requires a one-time investment and can be used for a long time.

② Based on the original structure of the secondary filter, we innovatively designed a filter element support component, replacing the original filter bag basket with our absolute precision filter element. This modification not only retains the structural advantages of the original filter but also significantly improves the filtration efficiency and accuracy.
