Beer

With the increasingly fierce competition in the beer market and the rising demand for beer quality, beer filtration technology has become particularly important.

Beer filtration refers to the process of using a filtration medium to separate and remove suspended tiny particles from the beer, making it clear, transparent, and free of suspended matter. Beer filtration is a crucial production step in the brewing process, as it affects the appearance, taste, biological stability, and non-stability of the beer. After filtration, the beer appears bright and clear, with a lustrous sheen, making it more appealing. At the same time, it can give the beer good biological stability and extend its shelf life. During the filtration process, it ensures minimal beer loss, low CO2 loss, reduced risk of contamination, and no oxygen absorption, thus preserving the flavor of the beer.

Filtration Purpose

● Filter the water used in beer production, such as brewing water (for saccharification and spent grains washing), yeast washing water, dilution water, and bottle washing water, to remove suspended solids and other turbid substances, soften the water, sterilize it, and remove oxygen to ensure water quality.

● Filter suspended solids in the beer to improve its appearance and enhance its sensory quality.

● Filter turbid substances in the beer, such as proteins, polyphenols, glucans, and some viscous substances, to improve the colloidal stability of the beer.

● Filter microorganisms such as yeast or bacteria in the beer to enhance its biological stability.
